This is the big list of all our ARCHIVE STANDARD sleeves in different sizes. External sizes are specified in mm, then the number of sleeves are given. The sleeves are flush top, open ended on one of the shorter sides.

There is a separate shop item for all peel & seal sleeves.

Please Note - for valuable printed papers we DO NOT recommend using any form of adhesive on the sleeve whether it is our adhesive or a sticky label, as adhesives give off organic volatile compounds and go into the atmosphere which then destroy all printed paper around them. This is why we say NEVER use albums as they are usually made of vinyl and glued together.

TO FIND YOUR SIZE

Take your item to be stored inside a sleeve and measure length, width and thickness in mm. For example, an A4 sheet fo paper is 210 x 297mm and less than 1mm thick, First take the width (in this example 210mm) and add 2x the thickness (1mm) plus say an extra 1mm for safety - this allows for the paper to slide easily into the sleeve but be neat at either side. in the paper example we say a sleeve of 214mm is required. Then, take the length of the item. This time you need only add one thickness plus 1mm for safety as the item slides into the sleeve longwise. So for the A4 document we recommend 299mm.

Our sizes of sleeves are listed width x length, so you simply need to scroll down the list until you find a size that is just over the size you need in width and then find the length size just over the size you need. If the length listed is far more than you need, you can cut easily with a sharp pair of scissors or a guillotine.

It may be that it is a size we ought to be making (we make all our sleeves here in the UK). New technology material from storage.boutique - dense, strong and lightweight Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP). Three different individual layers protect against daylight (Ultra Violet), moisture, and volatile organic compound damage.

Crystal clear, does not cloud over time, fits neatly over a single art print to display perfectly, and enhance the glossy quality of the sleeve contents.

Scratch-resistant, anti-static, photograph activity safe material, ideal for very long term, safe storage

These highly specialised sleeves are inert, strong, dense, lightweight and anti-static. They are photo activity safe and offer protection against volatile organic compounds (such as the harmful gases emitted by old vinyl storage albums which should never, ever be used to store anything important or valuable). We also manufacture with a 3% alkali buffer to ensure the sleeve is properly archive standard.

The outer layer of our BOPP sleeve is low density, coated on the outside to retard the harmful effect of ultra-violet light. The middle layer is a dense core giving strength which prevents tearing – the lightweight nature of our sleeve and the BOPP material means it retains extreme clarity for decades. The inside layer is untreated, which ensures that the sleeves are completely acid free on contact with your item. We also weld the sides of our sleeves cleanly to ensure you have a neat edge – this means the focus of the viewer is drawn directly to the contents and not the storage material.

The result of all this technology is a new, unique way of storing your archive or collection for a very long time, reducing hard plastic usage, and enhancing the display quality of the contents – and thereby possibly the value of your collection.
