A pack of 20 sheets of archive standard A4 black tissue paper that will act as a hygroscopic moisture shield to protect important documents or images. These sleeves average 18.4gsm and are sized 210 x 297mm. The UK manufactured paper contains a 2-3% alkali buffer and conforms to British Standard 4791 – Conservation and Care of Archive and Library Collections.

storage.boutique has produced this archive standard tissue paper to perfectly complement our archive standard protective sleeves.
The paper regulates the build-up of any potential humidity pockets or condensates on the surface of the valuable document. Our protective sleeves do have a central dense core material of inert biaxially oriented polypropylene that protects against moisture, but excessive periodic Relative Humidity (RH) can cause funghi growth on top of the sleeve which may look unsightly after a few decades. By absorbing or releasing excess humidity around 45-55% RH in a room temperature 72 degrees F environment, the tissue paper will substantially slow or stop any such process taking hold. The black, light absorbing, tissue paper should be inserted between each archive item, sitting between and on top of each storage.boutique sleeve allowing the paper to regulate between 4 and 6% normal water content.
Also conforms to British Standard 18902 in relation to archive storage materials.
